SC TYPE

It is used for sealing in oiled and dust-free occasions, withstanding pressure within 0.03MPa (0.3kgf/m2), and has a wide range of uses. Common materials include: butyl rubber, fluorine rubber, silicone rubber and so on. They are mainly used for motor oil seals, reducer oil seals, gear box oil seals, motor oil seals, mechanical arm oil seals, wind power oil seals and other kinds.​

Working Characteristics

1. Low-pressure application: mainly applicable to low-pressure environment, it can maintain good sealing performance and can be used in some equipments which do not require high pressure, such as small motors, common pumps and so on.
2. Speed limitation: it can adapt to a certain range of shaft rotation speed, but compared with some high-speed special oil seals, its applicable rotational speed is relatively low.
3. Temperature range: According to different materials, the working temperature range is different. The normal working temperature of SC type oil seal made of NBR is generally between - 40℃ and 200℃; the working temperature range of Viton material is usually between - 26℃ and 250℃.
